3.73s or 4.10s?

3.73s or 4.10s? im wanting to get new gears but not sure whats best for me. i have a 99 z28 m6, its my dd. so would 4.10s kill the gas a lot more than the 3.73s? or is it close enough that its worth it to get the 4.10s?
I've had both. I really didnt notice much difference in gas mileage though. I had bad luck setting up my 4.10s though cause they whine real bad. I'll soon be swapping back to 3.73s so I wont be turing so many RPMs on the highway. I also have a little harder time getting the car to hook with the 4.10s.
4.10's won't kill your mpg...but imo it's to much gear. I had 4.10 and could'nt get threw the 1/4 with them so I went to 3.90's and I would like to try 3.73. A 3.73 is stronger also. 4.10 also cause alot of wheelspin on the street.

I want to do 3.73s but I want to get the most for my money. I guess that will be the most practical way to go. I havent don't much research on it. How much am I looking at spending with the gears and install?
