Default building a 9" from scratch, info??

My brother is a welder/fabricator by trade, and has done some misc f body parts in the past. We are looking for links on info to fit a 9" into an f body. I already have a housing he is going to shorten, transfer spring perches/brackets from my old 10 bolt over to the 9 inch. Picking up a spool and i'm going to order moser axles.
What I am looking for is links on measurements, if there is a place to buy a torque arm mount for 9 inch, and also what kind of brake setup options to run? Thanks in advance

copy size from the 10 bolt, use the brake set up from 10 bolt,MOSER sells the end plates to bolt up your backing plates sooo when you order the axles get the end plates ( bearing mounts ), ( be sure and order the correct spline count to fit your 3 rd member) " currieenterprises " will sell you the "torque arm mount for 9 inch"
not a bad job if you have the time and good help

if i put the ends on the 9" housing from a 10 bolt, will i have to run bearings from a 10 bolt on my axles with the c clip eliminators, or are you talking about an adapter that bolts to the end of the 9" housing end?

It's the end u buy and weld onto the 9inch housing, u don't have to run c-clip eliminators b/c if the axle breaks the stock style rear disc brakes will keep the axles from coming out the housing and damaging the car. I am waiting to install my new Burkhart Chassis Fabricated 9" housing that will be narrowed 2inches per side,40 spline (gundrilled/starflanged)http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...rans_mount.jpg

. I also bought a complete third member for the 9" used, Mark Williams (Aluminum) Thru bolt centersection for the 9" with a 40 SPLINE SPOOL ,3.70 PRO gears ready to go for $1,000. Later
