Default 4.30 or 4.56

Im thinking about taking a loan out and getting a new rear. Im trying to decide if i want to go with a bigger gear. Im currently runing 3.90 it pulls really hard. I want to make sure that i wont be bangin of the rev limiter going throught the 1/4 mile with my setup. I know there used to be a guy from around my way that had close to the same setup but when he went to the track and sprayed it would bounce of the rev limiter. I guess im just wondering if 4.56 is way to tall will 4.30 be good. I drive the car occasionally on the high way to work. Let me know what your guys opinions are. thanks

I am thinking 4.10s with a auto and spray. Depends on tall of a tire you want to run and what your going to rev this motor to.

its only going to spin up to like 6600-6700, i was thinking 4.10 wouldnt be much of an increase over the 3.90's i was thinking 4.30 would be good because i would still get a good kick off the bottle

need to know tire size and vehicle weight as well.. I used this to help, http://www.f-body.org/gears/

I am going to be running 28" bias plys (grows to 29"), 4.30s, spinning to 7000 rpm, and my car will weigh around 2900 without me in it. I was planning on 150 shot.

i am running 28in tall tires and the car will spin to 6700rpm
i checked out that calc. the numbers that come up in the columns on the right are the mph correct?

where did you make peak power at ?with NOS you make peak power sooner,so you don't want to over rev it.do you want to gear it for best ET NA ,or best ET with the NOS?

i would like to get the best et overall but it would be nice to seet he NA best. If i went with the 4.30 would it be pointless for the nitrous to even to be used?
