Default 8.8 Yoke Help Needed

I picked up the Precision 355 adapting u joint and it fits the drive shaft just fine, but it won't work with the 8.8 yoke adapter that I have. I have 2 different yokes, one with the 3" bolt pattern that won't work for my 8.8 and the other has a 2.5" bolt pattern, but the widths of the yoke are the same (where the u joint gets pressed in)

Do I have the wrong joint? Or do I have the wrong yoke?? Or both?? I'm at a loss with this, every time I make some progress I get some sort of setback.

wrong u joint. I had that same problem. Take the flange to orreilys and hope someone in there knows how to use the u joint measuring tool. Different rear ends came with different flanges. I took my flange into orreilys and they measured the flange, and looked up a u joint in their precision book. Or measure yourself and get to googling. Good luck

Everything is at my parents house 30 miles away The Precision 355 is right on th shaft side, but about 1" too wide on the flange side. I'll measure it this weekend and give them too you if they can't figure it out locally

If you're using a 1350 yoke, the conversion joint is a PCN-447.

Ok bringing this one back up. I finally grabbed the yoke and took some measurements.

The 8.8 yoke adapter is
3.219" (3 7/32") between snap rings
1.062" (1 1/16") cap diameter

And on the driveshaft I came up with these figures
2.563" wide
1.125" cap diameter

The Precision 355 fits the driveshaft perfectly, but its 3.622 on the yoke side. If anyone can get me the part number for the right Precision U joint I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance
