Rear issues help plz!!
Rear issues help plz!! Ok so i wanted to get a lil sideways yesterday i turned rigt and gunned it around 5 mph and it only endend up spinning one tire and didnt get sideways, so i was like **** it i tried doing a burnout hit the brake gave it some gas and i heard a big bang soon as i tried to brake traction??? Wtf was that??!! I plan on doin rebuildin my rear car has 167k on it and its the stock 10 bolt in it never been replaced???? Ill be happy with a new workin 10 bolt plans with the car is maybe a head/cam swap hoping for 400 plus??? What should i do??? Thanks

You don't want to rebuild a factory 10 bolt if you are planning on making that much power. The issue becomes that it is a very small 10 bolt. By the time you build the 10 bolt to hold that much power you are going to be in the price area as ready to go s60, moser 12 bolt, or several ford 9 set ups. The point is unless you never plan on doing a burnout or seeing strip time you should start looking into a larger rear.
