Default Warning: Ticking sound

I probably should have posted this a long time ago but never got around to it.

So one day I was driving back from the mall and started hearing a ticking sound, seemed to change with speed. Didn't think too much of it at first just thought something got stuck on the driveshaft or something. After a short period it started bothering me so I looked underneath and saw nothing, so I replaced both U-Joints thinking this was the problem.

Well what happened afterwards was me and my friend finished the U-Joints and took her out for a spin. Still there, my friend doesn't get in my car very often so I decided to have a little fun, did a couple of small burnouts and took off, slowed down around 100 turned around, didn't do a burnout or clutch dump mind you, 1st gear pulling up to 5k-5500 we hear a loud bang. Thought I didn't tightened the DS all the way and it flew off, RPMS skyrocketed for a short period.

Eric from MWC hooked me up with a bada$$ rear end now and I don't need to worry about this happening to me again, just remember to get the 1" longer driveshaft . Here are some pics of the damage, the ticking sound was most likely from a chipped tooth of the pinion or something else but it decided to take the whole thing down. And FYI car was about 105k miles, bolt on's only, with about 350 lbs/ torque.
