9 '' drive shaft?

9 '' drive shaft? Just bought a used moser 9'' and need a drive shaft. I want 1350 yokes but really dont know if I need aluminum, steel, or chrome-moly. 3 or 3.5''? I just have a ORY with single bullet dumped. My TQ arm is a UMI tunnel mount too.
Just looking for some comments on what kind and price? Thanks!

I'm gonna assume with your #'s that you're 6 speed?
I'm happy with my PST 3.5" aluminum shaft/30 spline front yoke I ordered from Bob @ brute speed. That said, I've read several posts from people on Tech that have had problems with several of the drive shafts from various vendors. Heres my .02 on this stuff. Anytime you drive the **** out of things, somethings gonna occasionally break. Get the most NOW in preparation for the future. If you're running a lot of spray on sticky tires AND have the factory 27 spline output shaft in a 6 speed, I'd buy a chrome moly shaft with a billet front yoke. Keep in mind some day you might still have to deal with a busted tail shaft as several have had to do at your power level. IMO, a billet front yoke should help get the most life out of what you have.
On my car, I went with a 9" detroit locker with 35 splines and an upgraded 30 spline output shaft in the trans with a PST drive shaft with the cryo'd spicer yoke. Havent had a single problem with any of it, daily driving it and many hard blasts through the gears from a dead stop. IMO, your power level is hard on the 27 spline output shaft and thats where you're gonna see trouble. Yes, many have had their 27 spline shafts hold up and many have dead hooked a 10 bolt @ a 1.7 60" time. Wish I lived in that world!
Instead, I broke an aftermarket torque arm one month and had the welds on an aftermarket driveshaft a couple of months later(NOT PST and NOT from Bob) break. Oh yea, and blew up 2 10 bolts on the street.
