9" to 12" question I know this is probably a repsot somewhere but is it possible to take a ford 9" or 12 bolt from the junk yard rebuild it and slap her on? every dollar counts when trying to have a budge fast car so just wondering if its possible not to mention i think that the rear ends then were a little stronger 
the torque arm is the hard part.
If it was not for that, i would have a 8.8 in my car, i just don't trust my or anybody elses welding ability, to go cast iron, to steel.
The rest is fairly easy, for a good welder.
