8.8 build questions
8.8 build questions i searched but really didnt find the answers.
1.what are you guys doing as far as pressing axel tubes?
also from looking at a 8.8 at work there look to be 3 spot welds
holding the tube in,am i correct?.
2.and if the fbody tubes are pressed in the fbody carrier what are you
doing to extract them with out causing damage?
are these things able to be done with your typical shop press or
is it really a slip fit?just trying to cover my bases before i start.
trying to source a 8.8 and a extra ten bolt to build the set up.

I always thought they were pressed in and then
welded at the bung by both sides of the cover.
If you need 10 bolt axle tubes I have some that I can sell you
from my TA that I parted out.
