when do i need to upgrade?
when do i need to upgrade? i'm just curious, at what HP do i need to swap my 10 bolt?
as is right now, with what i am building, i've been estimated at 420 HP, but i want to get up to 450 N/A. any words of wisdom?

Alot of stock cars break rearend. If your never gonna race it on the track you probably won't have any trouble but a few passes on some sticky tires and its gonna shoot its wad sooner or later.
Went through 2 10 bolts in a year daily driving my at the time not yet full bolt on m6. I dont beat on my car either just bad luck i guess. First one started makin noises bad so I pulled it and put in another fresh one and it locked up on me on the freeway.
Get a used 12 bolt, 9", or d60. If your pushin that much hp and wanting to upgrade it it should be on your list of things to do unless you like riding on borrowed time.
