new gears
Should I get my stock carrier serviced/rebuilt when I get gears installed and will that fix the problem? Any one know what that would cost or what the problem might be?I'm going from a stock 2.73 to a Richmond 3.73 and I have no traction control, FWIW.
If you pick up a carrier from a 2.73 rear, you would need 3.73 'thick' gears for a 2 series carrier. If you pick up a carrier from a 3.23 or 3.42 rear, you would need 3.73 standard gears for a 3 series carrier.
