410 gears

Will 410 gears work in a automatic camaro,2001 ss

as long as you get the right series. If your stock gears are 2.73 then you need to get gears for a series 2 carrier, if its 3.23 you need to get gears for a series 3 carrier.

Most people with autos prefer 3.73 gearing though.

no reason 4.10s' shouldn't work,I'm running 4.56s' with auto.
4.10s'would be 'borderline' as far as staying in 3rd thru the traps,that's why 3.73s' are so popular and recomended.

I am stuck between going with 3.73 and 4.10's I got an auto with a stock stall not looking do do any work to the trans till it blows and i need to. So trying to do just gears for now

Are you hitting OD before the traps?
