Default Lengthing a drive shaft

Is this even possible to do while maintaining the structure of the driveshaft.

It seem it need atleast a half a inch or so more in the trans. The front slip yoke wobbles and I know it is not supposed to wobble to this extent, plus the output shaft seal is leaking

Any input on this

You can't lengthen a driveshaft.

Technically you can! Convert to bolt on yoke at the tranny and install a slip yoke in the shaft! I did that one time and you end up with a stronger system overall without having to buy a whole new set-up if your current set-up is within spec. You can also just have them install a whole new tube if your existing yokes/u-joints are in good condition.

Just take the shaft to a real drive shaft shop. They will just cut off the ends and replace the tube. It's not rocket science. They do it every day.
