If you go to the track alot go with a spool but if your mostly street driving i would stick with a posi. I go to the track pretty often and my posi was burnt out in 5 months. Coming out of the water box kills posi units. One wheel wonders suck at the track doesen't make good 60 ft times.

Depends on what tires you use, on regular radials, except for hard corners, you wouldnt even guess there is a spool in here. Drag radials are an excersise in self-abuse though, they chatter, creak, pop and squeal enough to let the world know you have a spool making an easy left turn
ET streets/slicks arent bad driving but they will wear out quick - you would be amazed at the amount of rubber an ET street leaves behind just pulling in the garage..
Like anything else thats a little over the edge for street driving just be aware of you car's limitations and adjust your driving style accordingly. Diving into 25mph offramp at 55 with ET streets/spool and skinneys on a damp day is NOT a good idea
That being said, it all depends on what you do with a daily driver (or fair weather car), if you work a mile from home and never drive in the rain/snow anyhow then a spool would be OK. For a 20 mile each way commute and possible bad weather I would probably pass on a spool..

I've been driving with mine now for a little over a week now and no problems at all..I'm running a set of M&H Racemaster Muscle car tires and they corner fine..No chattering or anything crazy yet...
