TR Complete Gear Package ::Thunder Racing Complete Gear Package::
I was wondering if anybody is running this setup from thunder racing. How is it??? Im thinkin about getting it for my 99Z after my cam install...

I installed their package back in 2002. It included gears, complete bearing/shim kit with gaskets, and a T/A girdle. I had it installed at a rear end shop. I think it is fine for what I do, which does NOT include hard launching.

Received mines last week, if you have a zexel diff. I think youll need a paddle kit or just grind the paddle you have in there. We tried putting mines in and the paddle would not clear so Ill be ordering the paddle kit from slp dint wanna grind the stock paddle.
And I also added the strange gears for $35 more. But I have a slight problem w/ my strange gears that I received. 2 or 3 teeth on my pinion gear is somewhat faulty, we tried shimming it and everything and @ one same spot it keeps on binding w/ the ring gear. Talked to Angie from thunder and they were very nice, there gear installer will give me a buzz tomorow. BTW love the T/A girdle that comes w/ the KIT.

Does this also apply to the Auburns in the 98's?
