Need advice! please help I have a cam only A4 with all bolt ons and 3.42gears and suspension
I just upgraded to a circle d 4000 stall from a yank ss3600 and the car is not any quicker at the track (60ft is the same and mph is down) I also got new 28'' tall racemaster DRs different then my usual M/Ts 25.66" tall.
60ft is still a consistant 1.62-1.65
MPH went from 92 to 89 in the 1/8th
E/T is still around 7.60s in the 1/8th
My question is do I need a different gear ratio to accommodate the new stall and tires or should I go back to the shorter M/Ts
Or was I expecting too much from the stall change?

A 28 inch tire is too much on the big end for a 3.42 rear. That's why you lost mph. Up the gear or lower the tire.

I really dont want to sell the tires so I will change the gears to either a 3.90 or 4.10
