Yoke far enough in?
Yoke far enough in? Put a 5.3 and TH400 in my crown vic, knew the driveshaft would be close, so I put the new TH400 yoke on the stock driveshaft and this is what I have.
It's a truck trans and I have the counterbored yoke that's needed for this app. That shiny part is roughly 1 1/4". The car was on jackstands on the framerails in this pic, and then I jacked it up by the axle, and that 1 1/4" barely changed if at all.
With that part sticking out, and the splineless beginning part of the yoke, there's about 2" of actual spline to output shaft contact.
