Default TrueTrac issue??

would have posted in here first, however I was thinking the issue was NOT the rearend, now Im lost. I have ruled out everything except the diff.

01 camaro m6, cam, full suspension, full bolt on, strange dana s60 truetrac

Here is the synopsis:
I hit 55+mph, the floorboards, center console, and seats vibrate and shake.
Steering wheel and shifter do not.

When I tried hitting 120MPH
the noise and vibration did get worse as expected, but new variables appeared:
-clunk,clunk, clunk, clunk noise from the rearend area
-noise and vibration goes away when i press the brakes.
-noise and vibration comes back when I release the brakes.
-noise and vibration still there, when I press the clutch or drop the t56 into the neutral gate.

Sounds like a DS or torque arm issue to me. Though I didn't read your other thread.

When you hit the brakes the rearend/suspension is loaded 'pinion down'. Maybe try adjusting the pinion angle down alittle more. Or look at the torque arm fwd mount for condition and security.

excellent point.

adj, the pinion angle down more then -2.5, Im sure would create more/new vibration.

I get what your say though, and tonight/tomorrow will be more investigation
