is a STOCK steel or STOCK alumimun drive shaft stronger?

Thanks for the response...i was told that they require a aluminum one on a dyno because of vibration.

Stock aluminum DS shown here. 3K launch on 315/35/18 drag radials, mods in sig. I'm now running a Strange 3" chromoly DS. I haven't taken it to the strip yet, but it feels stout.

They're both dangerous.... definitely going to get a Cr.Mo. DS (or hell... carbon fiber??) whenever I get a new rearend pre-turbo

Steel is stronger but not by a whole lot. If you plan on racing, you should upgrade.
