Gears
Gears I have a lq4 making 491 rwhp and 457 rwtq with a m6 and 9inch. power band starts at 3,600 go's to 7,100, i have 4.10 gears right now. My drag racing skills not the best but working on it. 60ft best been 1.9 and 1/4 126 at 11.8. So i would like to change my gears to 4.30 or 456 witch would be better ? p.s not alot of street driving
I'm running 17 with nitto drags. I do know that traction is a problem, lots of spin than hopping. The few times i've been at the track i have a full tank of gas, spare tire and jack still in, traction is better but with no weight in the rear, just spins 1st and 2 gear 2.3 60ft. So i was thinking of gear change before tires, to help down the track.
