1969 Camaro build okay so my friend is building his all original 1969 Camaro 127k miles
He's got plans for a LS3 through a 4L80E (6speed) and he wants me to look up rearends and what kind of mileage he'd see with what gears.. keep in mind this is a daily driver.
through jegs they only sell a currie 9" with the gear options of 4.30 and 4.11 what kind of mileage would he see with those.
He wants about 26-30 highway and 18+ city.. he drives like a grandma.
Currenly he gets about 14mpg combined. He would like to get a +10 combined or close.
Thats why he opted for the LS3 and 4L80E...good hp motor and 6 gears.
He has a 3 speed auto through the stock 307.
