Default Pinion nut, how tight?

Anyone know how tight this needs to go back on? And is it okay to reuse the pinion nut??

Thanks

Default

You tighten it (using an old crush collar) to the same spot or 1/16th tighter OR (using a new crush collar) to the correct SPINNING drag on the pinion bearings....20-25 inch/pounds IIRC using a beam style torque wrench. I've never re-used a crush collar and you really aren't supposed to but some will say it is acceptable.
