spools I hope to be buying a ford nine inch with a spool in it. Are spools best for the strip and can they be driven on the road with the only thang hurting is the tires wearing out. thanks

I run my spool on street each day to and from work. It isnt to bad. Just avoid tight turns and give it gas all thru the turn. It is eating my eagle f1 gsd3's for lunch tho. but I dont mind. summer time I spend on 2 wheels most of the time anyhow.
I found that if you pay attention to how you're taking corners it helps alot. The real challenge is how it eats tires at slow speeds, but it's still the only way to go for a solid track set-up.
