Default 9in help

I bought a quick performance rear and all the goodies. My question is the axle bearings are already pressed on and the seals are in the box. Dont the seals have to go on first? are there any good write ups I've searched and couldnt find a whole lot. thanks

Who knows, I don't think bearings cost that much just take them off and get new ones pressed on

Yes.

That's weird they pressed them on like that. When I got mine they where in a bag as well. I've herd you can cut the bracket to allow the axle to slide through but not sure I'd try it..

My QP 9" setup is the same. The seals go up inside the axle tubes, the bearings do not get lubed (they are sealed).

Hmmm, I pulled the 9" out of my Maverick to change the rear springs (among other things) and didn't have to remove bearings to get the backing plates off...

I got mine from them and it came with sealed bearings with the o ring on the outside. Mine were loose in a bag, I had to have them pressed on with my caliper bracket.(drag brakes)

Seems like somebody messed up. Hope it works out for you.

Yeah when i got my 9" from qp the housing and torque arm mount came from qp and the axles and bearings came directly from moser, mine werent put together either because the backing plates have to go on first then bearing then retainer ring
