Stock 10 Bolt, gaskets? Hey guys,
I'm planning on swapping a real low mileage 10-bolt into my car.
I already have it and I'm already planning on putting a stronger cover on it, but want to know, what other gaskets or seals should I get?
I'm going to have a local shop do it for me since I don't have the tools nor the time

The only things that can be done without tearing it all apart are the axle seals. If doing that you might as well replace the axle bearings too...the replacements should look exactly like stock...be sure you check. My advance loans a really nice set of axle tools...wish I would have known how nice before buying my own.
Swapping rears is no big deal, no special tools. Should take about 2.5 hours, even on the ground. If its low mileage id just change the fluid and put the girdle on. Fix it when you have a problem...its a pita no matter what and the 10 bolt is shot in the *** brand new.
