The axles are 32" long and they butt up against the 3/4" diameter cross-pin in the differential. Add 1/4" per side for the rotors and you get 65 1/4" rotor-to-rotor. That pretty much matches the link provided above since I had the distance from the housing flange to the axle flange at 2 5/8" or a little more.

I personally have been 11.02 at 135 with foot brake launches on a 7.5 10 bolt. only upgrade was a support cover and tubular rear suspension stuff. also made plenty of 2 step launches on the street however it spun hard enough to probably save it from exploding. even lost a driveshaft at one point and broke the pinion yoke but the 10 bolt still seemed fine.
