Default Driveshaft

Finally got my sticky tires on the car. Had a lil race . Heated the tires up once. Gave it a 3k rev . Boom. What a noise! I was thinkin 10 bolt but turns out my driveshaft went to pieces. I ask a lot of guys about this aluminum shaft in my 02 6 speed and some said itll be fine some said no. It dident make one pass on the tires LOL.

Where are you guys getting driveshafts from? What kind should hold. Im thinking a steel 3.5 dom shaft from Midwest driveshaft unless someone has a better idea. Car is a cam only ls1 6 speed. Will get a 125 shot of nitrous I am currently working on but its not finished. It has 275/60/15 et street pro tires that I might sell for some biasplys. Opinoins? Options welcome here

Gotcha covered!

The 3" seamless steel or the 3.5" aluminum shaft from PST will be great choices. Give me a call and I can get you setup with a complete shaft that is ready to install... and of course the best prices!

I had already pulled the trigger on haveing a local shop make me one before I saw the reply Monday. But after checking out your website you guys make a really nice driveshaft loop. Does this loop interfear with the factory torq arm in any way or will it bolt right in with no problems?

Quick Reply: Driveshaft
