8.8 build question

8.8 build question I want to throw an 8.8 in my Camaro. I have the skills and tools to do the swap, but I am ignorant to rear end setups. I want to know if you can use an 8.8 28 spline carrier w/ the Camaro axles and 9" bearing ends, eliminating the c clips.
Here is my thought. I can save the cost of having axles made. I also don't have to worry about the mismatch of the Camaro axle c clips w/ the 8.8 carrier. If the Camaro axles fail, I can get a 31 spline carrier and have custom axles made.
Will it work? Thanks guys.

as for 9in bearing ends???? cant help ya there pm hiltsy he'll know.
the c-clips are almost identical in size and shape so i wouldnt worry about it.
yes you can have 31 spline axels made to fit your set up but you will pay for it.
yes you can use a ford 28 spline carrier with gm 28 spline axels
