need a gear recommendation

need a gear recommendation my buddy has a 99 trans am and is getting a 9" w/a spool for it. He needs a gear recommendation. This is a street and strip car.
His setup is:
stock cube LS that came in the car with a cam swap (595/608 lift 232/240 @ .050), D1SC with a 4.25" pulley.
4L60 with a 3600 stall
285 60 15 28" tire

4.11 gears should put it at the top of the power band through the traps in the 1/4. You could go with 3.90 gears to allow for a little more power down the road. Bob
