Moser 12 material?

Moser 12 material? What is the Moser 12bolt made of iron or steel? The center is cast but what? I want to weld to it and have it all apart but don't want to drive it to the welder if it cant be done! I know the 3"tubes are steel as BMR sells weld on sway bar mounts! So the center must be steel? Thanks
I'm not sure what they use, its different from what GM uses. Since the axle tubes are welded on the moser I assume its weldable. Cant say for sure, I can weld up an exhaust system/little brackets but thats as far as I go

Well I called my welder guy he said if it is cast steal where ok and it my be b/c the axle tubes are welded to the center and BMR sells weld on sway bar mounts! But most companys use iron b/c it is cheaper!
You could call moser, there is always someone there to answer the phone and they should know exactly what its made out of. It has to be some kind of cast iron I would think, I have had axle tubes welded to stock rear housings and I'm pretty sure extreme chassis welds the torque arm mount to their 8.8s so its possible to weld a stock cast housing.
