non-composite diff-friction options?
At the moment my interest is a 31-spline Ford 9", and I've been online 19 hours this weekend doing nothing but researching this.
Are there any non-composite friction discs for any other diffs that can be swapped in? Even with a bit of grinding?
I kid you not, I'd give $ 1500 for a Dura-Grip with proper frictions in it.
Mostly since it's not my money nor my car, but it is an LS3 plus 13-13.5 psi of boost.
If any sponsors are reading this, here's an opportunity to sell something that's more needed than most people realize.

Most Auburn LSD units do not have friction disks. They use a cone style, which is basically metal to metal.
