Default building a 8.8

Hey all

Im putting together a 8.8 for a s10 build im doing . I need to upgrade the posi unit . Its going to be a daily driver with a few weekends at the track . Im debating on a yukon posi unit or a mini locker . Would the locker have good street manners ? i ran a locker briefly on the street 20 years ago but honestly dont remember how it was . the posi unti of course would prob be smoother but more expensive

The stock posi unit is A-OK with Ford Racing clutches and a truck S-spring. Mine's 12 years old and it still chirps around corners when the pavement is hot...

To be honest you should use the stock LSD from an Explorer which is 31 spline and just use the FORD RACING rebuild kit thats what is in the Cobra ... 100.00 kit is worth the savings and normal drivability.
