help me pick so im installing my new moser 9" (thanks brute speed) i need to decide on gear ratio. here's the specs
M6 running a 28" tall tire. I'm either going with 3.89 or 4.11's.
i did the online calculators
28" tire with 4.11's = 131mph@6500rpm
28" tire with 3.89's = 139mph@6500rpm
this is not my daily driver, i dont care about mpg's etc etc. i just want the best ratio for the 1/4 mile. the car made 407rwhp all motor, then ill spray 150 shot maybe a 175 shot at most. i dont want to take it past 6500 on stock rod bolts.

The more power you make the less gear you need.
These are approximate.
6500 redline 4th gear 28" tire.
3.89 = 140 mph
4.11 = 132 mph
I would get either 3.70 or 3.89
