What do I do with this rear end? I am having a 12 bolt put in my 2000 WS6. The old stock 10 bolt is apparently mine to take home. What do I do with it? I am driving the car 4 hours from home to have the work done at a F-body specific shop, so bringing it home is not really an option. I took a quick look at ebay, but I don't see a lot of demand for the stock rear...not too surprised. Any ideas would be appreciated.
The stock rears don't bring much, but there are plenty of guys looking for stock rears to get them by for a little while. If you can hold on to it long enough to sell I would. It may only get you a couple hundred but anything helps. If I had more room in my garage I'd offer the space since I'm 5 minutes from Speed Inc. I'm thinking I may sell mine for scrap only because my diff is junk too. Maybe find a thirdgen guy looking to update and do different wheels. There's always interest.
