Default quiet gears
What brand of gears are considered the quietest? Also would S10 truck gears work?

Factory GM gears have been the best for me. Even used ones swapped into a different rear can be quiet if setup properly. Yes S-10's have the same size 7.5" 10 bolt rear in them so the gears swap over.

Yes as far as aftermarket goes the Yukon is the quietest we are a dealer for them and have the lowest prices guaranteed.

Are Yukon gears any stronger then stock? I'm thinking of 4.10:1's, but I realllly want them to be quiet. My gears/bearings now are driving me insane with the noise.

Hi, I'm finally ready to do this. Whats your price for Yukon 3.73's and 4.11's?

Also price for Yukon Master Overhaul kit and/or other recommended brand overhaul kit?

Standard Transmission & Gear in Fort Worth has the Yukon 3.73's in stock for $175.93. They also have the thick 3.73 gear set for those running a 3.08 and down carrier.

They have a Yukon 4.11 Gear set for $203.13. They also have the thick version for those with the 3.08 and down carriers.

Ask for Fabian if any of you guys are interested. Tell him you're on LS1tech to get this pricing.
