pinion angle
Mine with stock components and no shims installed measured 4.5 degrees downward front to rear at the transmission and 3.0 degrees downward front to rear on the yoke bearing cap with a socket as a spacer to get a good reading. this would normally be called a -1.5 pinion angle on the forum. Angle of the driveshaft does not matter. I installed 3/8 shim under the trans bushing to get both at 3.5 degrees, which is a zero pinion angle to address vibrations.
If you're not vibrating, don't worry about it. If you are, let the fun begin.
