Default gears and tire combo?

witch is a better combo a 26" tire with 3.73s or 28" tire with 3.73s on a 2000 trans am? i also spray a 100 shot of nos.

Depends on the rest of the car, engine mods, etc. the stock tire diameter is 24.7" geared at 3.42 or 3.23 depending on your transmission.

So, I would say 26" at 3.73 would be better than 28". I would consider going 3.89 at 3.73 to get to 3.73 at stock diameter.

That's assuming your goal is to go faster / quicker.

I am buying new tires, and want best performance. All mods in sig.

I tried my friends 28" tires and they slowed me down. Going 26".
