8.8 swap For those that have done the 8.8 swap what have you done to keep the sway bar from hitting the rear cover under hard acceleration? This is the 5th one I've built some I used shims some the owners left the bar off. Basically I'm wanting to here what others have done. Thanks in advance.
I dont have an answer for ya, but i'm doing my first one now and would like to see some pics of your setups for sure. Still using a torque arm or have you tried mini four link/ladder bar, pics please

I never had a stock swaybar on my 8.8 so I can't say I've had this issue. But if the car is lowered or the rear of the car squats on accel maybe try shortening the forward swaybar endlinks.

May try that Hiltsy. Thanks for all the torque arm mounts also. Gonna need 2 more in a few weeks
I only had to grind off a little on the bootm side of the bottom cover bolt. The stock sway bar never hits the actual cover. BTW im using stock length control arms on a stock ride height car with stock swaybar. I just loosely install the bar mounts on the rear axle tubes and rotate the mounts as far to the rear as the slack will allow and tighten down. Im using a perfect launch rear cover on the 8.8 rear also.
