3Ch and 4ch ABS question. Hello guys i have a question about 3 channels and 4 channels rear end.
Long story sort, i have a 02 z28 with out traction control with 2.73 gears. Now I found for sale rear end from a SS M6 that have 3.42 gears and have the TA solid cover for a very good price but it is from a traction control car. Now my question is.
If i install that rear end in my car without changing the reluctor wheel from my rear end to the one that i going to install, I loose speedometer to read MPH?

MPH is read off the reluctor in the tranny tailshaft. You will lose ABS and the dash ABS light will be constantly on.Your speedometer will be wrong because of the gear change from 2.73s' to 3.42s'.

Thanks so much FirstYrLs1z. If i loose the ABS for me is not a big deal but can I used the reluctor from my series 2 carrier in my series 3 carrier? I know the series 2 is more narrow than the series 3.
