3.23's, slp cold air, and loudmouth, best e.t.
13.23 @ 106.6mph 2.1 60'
now I have 255 40 18's tires,then stock 245 50 16s
I want to get into the 12's (without spray)and
also be better prepared for the more likely roll race,
and if the TC is the better choice, which one,
the car is daily driven and about 17,000 a year,

Converter for sure. I have a 3800 Midwest with 2.7 STR, and I love it. I picked it mainly because it was about 500 bucks delivered to my door. I drive my car plenty, and have never regretted it. I would also recommend the transgo kit and a cooler at the same time. I went with 3 washers and also billet servoes.
Which converter depends on what you can tolerate and what your goals are for the car. I personally really like the Yank SS series...great street/strip combo. If you're a little more hardcore, you may like the TP series.
