Yoke seal?
Yoke seal? I'm in a bit of a pickle. I have a 2002 Camaro SS w stock rear.
The pinion seal was leaking. I replaced it with a National 710474 Oil Seal. Upon pulling the yoke off I noticed there is a second seal that was slipped inside the yoke that is torn up. It is the black seal in this picture. The orange seal is the old pinion seal. After research I found 2002 have a two piece setup compared to one piece on 98-01s.
Does anyone know of a part number or name for the black seal? Every exploded picture of the rear end on the web only shows the pinion seal.
