Where to get proper gear lube for Detroit TrueTrac?
Hi Guys,
I'm going to be replacing my gear set in my 9". (going from 3.89 to 3.50 for turbo kit)
I want to get the proper gear lube, either 75W90 or 80W90 without any limited slip additive since the TrueTrac recommends plain jane gear oil. I've looked all around locally and can't seem to find any without it.
I've put Lucas and Valvoline in before, but at the time I didn't realize they had the limited slip additive in it.
What are you guys using for your TrueTrac and where do I find a good quality gear lube without the limited slip additive?
Thanks....
