Default Need info for ordering gears

I want new gears. I have 4.11 now, and have for the past 7 years or so but I've been driving my car a lot more lately. After doing some figuring with ratio calculators and watching a video I made pulling through all the gears (M6), 7 years later (d'oh) come to find out Jason at TDP transmissions never did get me the "proper" gear ratio T56 that I asked for. It's still the M29 option trans with the lower ratios. 1st gear is utterly useless, 2nd is about 50% of the time. Going off the calculators, I basically have the ratio you LS1 guys would have with 4.56 gears. Actually a little lower still. It looks like moving to 3.42 will get me about equivalent to 4.11 for a "normal" ratio'd T56, and 1st gear would actually be usable. I can't remember the last time I even started out in 1st gear.

1993 10 bolt, I'm confused on the specifics. do I have a carrier series 2, or 3? Is the 7.5" and 7.625" interchangeable? Can I use the "thick" gear sets, or just the standard?

Edit: the car came with the "GU5 : AXLE REAR, 3.23 RATIO" RPO code

If/since the car came with GU5 3.23,that makes the carrier 3 series.
7.5/7.625 the SAME
Standard gear set,NOT thick.

I had a 93 Z with the m29 and 4.10s. It was a fun little car to drive and all gears were perfectly usable as long as you werent doing clutch drops.
