Rear Upgrade?
Last year I upgraded the engine to an output of 480rwhp N/A. I was looking at upgrading the suspension so its not stock anymore. In the back of my mind I've been worried that the 10 bolt won't have much more time, as I've seen stock cars break them. The car is mostly a street car, but would like to get it down the straight track once in awhile.
I was leaning towards a 12 bolt, but was wondering if there is anything i should look into first, like tires and rim sizes if it would matter for axle length. Or suspension setup. I am not too sure when it comes to driveline tech.

I see alot of people are using the modified 9" now. I know you can never have too much, but i think it may be overkill for the car and my wallet. Are there are vendors that deal with the strange 12 bolt?

I like my 12 bolt, and at your power level one would have no problem lasting forever. That being said I wish I would have went 9 inch just for the simplicity of gear swaps and cheaper parts for it.

I lost sleep over this decision. For the longest time I was dead set on a 9", but after doing some research I opted for the s60 and I got lucky finding a pretty good deal on one used.
I don't think you can really go wrong between a 9" and a s60. The s60 is heavier especially compared to a fabricated 9" housing, but is a bit more efficient from what tests show based on hypoid offset.
For me the idea is to set it and forget it. I'm not going to need to change gears on the fly which is a benefit I see to the 9", so there is no temptation for me to now have a second center section that I may never use.
Most people run a 9" so parts are abundant and I've seen quite a few center sections for sale.
At the end of the day a 9" or s60 is something that should last for a long time and if you break one you're doing something serious.
Hope this helps a bit, and good luck!
