94 TA Gears hi
94 Trans am A4 with 2.73 all stock drivetrain
im about to order a 3.73 kit but everywhere says ''for 3.23 and up carriers'' so they wont fit on my 2.73 rear end?
i need to change the carrier too? please help me out dont know much about the subject
if you guys can list everything i would need (with links if possible) that would be great

2.73s'(and 3.08s') is on a 2 series carrier,3.23s'(and 3.42s') is on a 3 series carrier. The "for 3.23 and up carriers" is the standard set,you need the 'thick' set. 3.42s,3.73s' and 4.10s are made for both carriers,the 'regular' set and the thick set.

Yes. BUT it doesn't state who is the manufacturer is of the gearset or of the bearings.
Of my references of the two gearsets in post #4,one is a Jegs 'house' brand and the other is Richmond. Richmonds' are typically known to be 'noisy'.
Other retail outlets have bigger choices,of which Motives gear brand and kits containing Timken bearings are preferred.
