Default Diagnosis estimate please!

A new problem for me!

My A4 2001 WS6 has started with some rear end noise/strange behaviour.

Best way i can describe it is by posting this video which features the same noises that is coming from my rear end - the only difference is mine only does it when getting on the throttle hard from a stop, or medium throttle pulling out of a junction to the right. it will also do it at WOT at the top of first and second gear.

Is my 10 bolt finished? and if yes, what kind of failure can make that noise?

I would inspect all rear suspension components including the torque arm and trans mount. If everything checks out i would pull the diff cover and inspect the magnet and gears carefully. If that checks out i would pull the axles and inspect the wheel bearings. All that can be done in an hour or so.

Thanks for the reply. I've had the torque arm bushing and transmission mount checked already and they're fine. The rear suspension seems to be fine, as it was all gone through when searching for a clunk over bumps which ended up being the old exhaust. Time to pull the diff cover I guess !
