Default Wheel bearings

Do I have to get custom wheels bearings when I get over a certain hp. My friend made a seemingly solid point. If a car that was designed to go 200kmh can now theoretically go 400+ (in a straight line on the world's longest drag strip) the wheel bearings would likely seize up well before max speed.

Its more about how LONG you go that speed. A lesser bearing would generate more heat and destroy itself over time. Im not aware of anyone who makes a better wheel bearing for a stock rear end.
