Default rear axles

hello all, when I get my Trans Am back out in the spring, my first job on the to-do list is remove the rear axles and inspect/replace the axle bearings and seals (axles were starting to howl right before I put the car away. My car does have the Traction Control, for anyone that has removed the axles, anything I should be on the lookout for or aware of? Thanks

Traction control sensors might have to be removed from the backing plates to be able to push the axles inward to remove the c-clips.
DO NOT USE 'axle saver bearing' assemblies.

If you have to replace the axles be careful with the reluctor rings. Heat them up so they'll slip off the old axles and have your new axles sitting in ice and those rings will slip on there like butter.
