10 Bolt Yoke Install Question Hello Everyone,
I have an 8.5 10 bolt that I rebuilt with a Detroit true track and 30 spline 12 bolt axles. I changed the gears to Richmond Excel gears.
My issue is the new yoke with the larger u joint. The yoke goes on really hard and I had to really tighten down on it to set the bearings. I think I set the crush sleeve to 20-inch pounds but I am concerned with how hard the yoke went on.
Should I uninstall and grind the yoke to slip on easy?
