I just installed a QP 9" in my 91. Fits great just got to drill out the panhard bolt hole out a bit bigger other than that it went in easy. I got a complete center section built by them too. Yukon nodular case 3.25 gear with Yukon grizzly locker with 35 spline axles
After having bought my rear from MIDWEST CHASSIS I would have you give them a call and ask. We see a lot of 4th gen stuff from them here but there's so very little difference between 3rd and 4th gen cars. It doesn't matter who you talk to whether it be Eric or Jason, both guys are great, you can get pretty much anything you'd like as an option on the rear and honestly speaking for just the rearend itself my favorite part is it's LIGHT. You won't find better customer service anywhere. From before I purchased my rearend until now which has been a couple of months there hasn't been a working day gone by that I haven't emailed and gotten a response from Jason or he's emailed me to check on my progress. When I say not a day gone by, seriously, like each day we've spoken, I could show you the emails but it would look like a grocery store receipt after a huge purchase. Those guys will go out of their way for you.
So, what I'm trying to say here is, they're a Fab shop that has great customer service and a product line to meet the needs and budget of just about anyone. And just because we see so much focus on 4th gen stuff doesn't mean they won't do a rear and torque arm setup for your 3rd gen. They build race cars, not limited to one generation. It's worth your time to make the phone call IMHO.
